How long does a lash lift last?
Six to eight weeks for most people. The lift stays with the lash until that lash naturally sheds, so results fade gradually rather than dropping all at once — there’s no awkward grow-out stage. Most of our regulars rebook every couple of months.
Does it hurt?
No. Your eyes stay closed the whole time and nothing touches the eye itself. Most clients find it relaxing enough that they fall asleep. You may notice a faint tingle from the solution, which passes in seconds. If anything feels uncomfortable at any point, tell your technician and we’ll stop immediately.
Do I need a patch test?
If you’re adding a tint and haven’t been tinted with us before, yes — a quick patch test 24 to 48 hours ahead of your appointment. It takes two minutes and it’s the responsible way to rule out a reaction to the dye. Lift and lamination alone don’t require one, though we’re happy to test if you have sensitive skin.
Can I still wear mascara?
Yes, after the first 24 hours. Most people find they stop reaching for it — that’s rather the point. If you do wear it, stick with a regular formula. Waterproof mascara needs an oil-based remover, and oil is what breaks down a lift fastest.
Will brow lamination work on my brows?
Lamination works best when there’s hair to work with. Coarse, curly, or unruly brows respond beautifully, and so do brows with gaps that can be closed by redirecting the hairs. Very sparse brows will improve but won’t transform. We’ll be honest with you at consultation about what your brows can realistically do.
Can I get threading and lamination in the same visit?
Absolutely, and it’s the ideal combination. We thread first to establish a clean shape, then laminate to set the remaining hairs into it. The result is far sharper than either service on its own. Just mention it when you book so we can allow enough time.
Is it safe if I wear contacts or have sensitive eyes?
Yes, though you’ll need to remove your lenses before the treatment and leave them out for a few hours afterward. Nothing enters the eye during a lift. If you’re prone to sensitivity, have a recent eye condition, or have had eye surgery in the past six months, mention it at consultation — and check with your doctor first if you’ve had a procedure.
How soon can I book before a wedding or event?
Come in five to seven days ahead. That gives everything time to settle and leaves room to adjust if you want a different curl or a deeper tint. Don’t book the day before — you want your results looking natural in photographs, not brand new.
